The first time I visited this store, my friends and I were accused of stealing. We were polite and kind the entire time, but the two women who run this place are rude and snippy and have been every time I've visited the store. Yes, I went back after being accused of stealing. I assumed it was an honest mistake, and I know running a business is difficult. But they've been rude every time I've been there. They're also treating the Black Lives Matter movement as something that personally inconveniences them, rather than what it actually is: a civil rights movement. Their business is not more important than people's lives.

As cool as the merchandise in the store is, the two women who run this shop are VERY rude. I've been a customer service rep and I know dealing with customers can be taxing, but these two are snippy and suspicious of my friends and I whenever we come in, presumably just because we're young and they just have to assume we have bad intentions.
On top of that, they do not seem to take the Black Lives Matter protests seriously at all, merely considering them nothing but a nuisance, based on their facebook post that says, "...we will not be open till all the protesting and rioting is over and done...we had to board up our shop..." These are two nonblack women treating important protests over police brutality and racism as trivial and annoying.
There are a lot of cool antique and alternative shops downtown, take your business elsewhere.
