I've been taking my cats to "Dr. Bob" for years and I have to tell you this guy is the real deal. I absolutely love, love , love this clinic! Did I say love? Absolutely! Not only do you get the guru that is Dr. Bob but you get his whole family...the son, the daughter, and even the wife. In a clinic where the grand daughter's photos and art work is sprinkled in with cats and dog pictures, it truly is the "whole family" that gives you all their love (there's that word again) attention and expertise. Dr. Bob is truly an animaly whisperer!. The way he bends down low and talks in his slow, melodious deep voice is magical. My cats are totally transfixed, calmed and relaxed by his wonderful touch, communication skills and shear presence. One of the most intriguing things about this magic man is the fact that he talks "to" the animals. By their response, I really think there is mutual understanding and respect. Okay, I'll just say it... he's Dr. Doolittle. I could go on and on about how much I recommend this clinic but nothing I say can tell you just how much I love (yes, again) this man. The hardest of three days came for me two years ago in July when my beloved cat Simba was dying of kidney failure. Dr. Bob and his family were SO respectful and empathetic. To this day, I will never forget the way they dealt with my blubbering self (more than once I went into the ugly cry) and the dignity and respect they gave Simba as he was put to sleep. The last few minutes of Simba's life were filled with Dr. Bob encouraging him to go chase the squirrels and butterflies over the rainbow bridge. Just thinking about it brings tears to my eyes. So don't hesitate and stop looking for another person to take care of your furry family...go see Dr. Bob. You don't even need an appointment, you just drop in, anytime. You go at YOUR convenience and will immediately feel like there is no animal more important than yours. You and yours will be treated with compassion and understanding. Oh...and did I say LOVE?
