Provided by YP.comThis is a very reputable local owned business. I had my brakes done there last year and was satisfied with the service and the price. I am about to have some other work done on my car and am taking it back to D & J's because I want to give them my business. I feel I am dealing with honest hardworking people in this shop. Nice cozy waiting area-expect to see plenty of people because this is JoCo's best kept secret.
We appreciate you giving us the opportunity to serve you and thank you for the positive feedback.

Provided by YP.comMy check engine light came on with my 2006 Ford Fusion about 2 weeks ago and D&J replaced Valve Cover Gasket 8/11/09 where I specifically declined the Diagnostic of $79. David Hudson owner of D&J’s also quoted 2 rear tires but was too high. David called me back with a tire quote that would beat the other shop. I thought about the lingering check engine light problem and Dave’s good tire quote I decided to call back for a quote on the four 100K service items listed w/o a price on the 8/11/09 invoice. I went with D&J as they are a “friend” but became uneasy about the lack of details of the estimate/quote for $750. I told Dave I needed to have him explain the thermostat repair portion of the quote and how the Diagnostic was being charged after I declined it on 8/11/09. Dave admitted that was his fault and that he had already run the Diagnostic before finding out from Blair that I had declined. And Dave told me the Diagnostic is a business expense and he’s trying to run a business and he felt that “he was doing me a good deal”. I then gave Dave the quotes from D&J and Ford: Air Filter: D&J $29.10, Ford $24.95, Spark Plugs: D&J $158.49, Ford $79.95, Transmission Svc: D&J $138.60, Ford $119.95, Coolant Change: D&J $138.00, Ford $89.95, Total D&J $464.19, Ford $314.80* ($149.39 higher than Ford). * Includes parts and labor, no tax. So D&J is 47% higher than FORD on basic repairs!!! I told Dave I was very upset with the way he was handling things so I cancelled the 100K tune-up. Dave said “why don’t you have Ford do all of the work”? I said including the tires and thermostat repair? Dave said “yes”. I said okay I will come pick up my car ASAP, and do not do ANY work on my car and D&J will NEVER work on either of my vehicles again. D&J's Automotive LLC has just lost 2 customers for life over an $80 Diagnostic fee and a bunch of unethical BS w/o any customer service
Chris, you were upset with our estimates for the repairs you needed, however, the prices you have listed that are "D&J's" are not our prices. Our prices were: Air Filter: $13.88, Spark Plugs: $68.23, Transmission Service: $125.00, Coolant Change: $79.95, for a total of $287.06. A difference of $27.74, cheaper than Ford. A diagnostic check was performed in Aug 2009, however, the 79.95 fee was waived and not billed to you. We apologize for any misunderstandings. Thank you.
