Do not under any circumstances go here. My hinge had become damaged on my laptop computer, which did not allow my screen to close. It was less than ten months old, and everything worked perfectly. I was just using it without closing it to make sure I didn't break the touch screen, but needed it to close for traveling. I asked them if they could order another hinge for it. I showed them that the plastic below the screen was moving when I tried to close it, and I did not want to force it closed for fear it would break the glass touch screen or the plastic. They told me a wire had gotten stuck in the hinge, and showed me by closing it. When they forced the lid closed, they broke the screen and the plastic part under the screen - which is what I specifically told them would happen. So now, instead of a simple hinge fix, I had to pay to replace a touch screen, and they refused to pay for any of it since "the computer was not signed in" when I asked them to look at it. I specifically asked them if this was something they could fix, they looked at it, while it was open and on (no cracks in the screen), and then forced it closed, creating two large cracks. There were no signs saying that a computer needed to be signed in or that they were not liable when letting you know if they could fix your laptop - probably because that's a crazy policy. When I spoke to management they said that it was broken when I brought it in, and that I was lying about them breaking it, and that it was "just the computer's time". It was ten months old. I took my computer to Micro Center, and they told me the hinge fix was going to be around $56 dollars. However, when they forced it shut they broke not only the screen, the plastic, but also the hinge attachment to the back. All in all, the repair cost was going to be over a thousand dollars (1,000) to replace all this. Long story short - a simple hinge fix on a computer that worked fine otherwise turned into a thousand dollar repair. NEVER GO HERE.

i took in my computer with a bad port. charged 180 dollars, which was half of best buy. however, when i booted it up the network was not working, it wouldnt even list the networks around me. i took it back and explained that it wasnt like this before i took it in. they looked at it, looked at a list of my files. saw bitcoin on it and said, ooohhhh bitcoin is a virus, itll be 85$ to remove it. since i knew for a fact that bitcoin was not a virus i said ill think about it because i might know a way to fix it. they said fine. i took it over to my tech-savvy friend and he opened up the computer. they had disconnected the wires to my network adapter ( clearly on purpose) while fixing the port (which they did fix so i have to give them credit for that. however it took over two weeks longer than what they had originally PROMISED). Do not use their services, they are decent with computers but assume that everyone is a technological dumb*ss. i repeat.... dont take your computer here.

This place needs to receive zero stars. Do not use this business. I took a desktop in because it was running very slow and would not run Windows Updates. Also took in an external hard drive and asked them to back up everything from desktop to the hard drive. Picked it all up a couple of days later, took it home, plugged it all in and discovered still running slow and could not run Windows update. Back we went and again requested they be sure everything was backed up to the external drive. They determined they needed to reinstall Windows which would wipe everything else from the drive. Fine, I said, just be sure you back it all up to the hard drive. Retrieved the computer a few days later, took it all home, plugged it in and could not find any backup file on the external hard drive. Took the hard drive with me for them to, perhaps, show me the file somewhere. Nope. No backup. Their excuse: "I see you requested a backup when you brought it in, but YOU DIDN'T AUTHORIZE IT." Holy Christ, people. Why would I have brought in an external drive if I didn't want a back up?? So, several years of data, pictures, correspondence lost because they didn't do their job. And they tried to make it my fault. It was not a pretty scene while I explained that his staff lied to me, not once, but twice about doing their jobs. The owner threw, yes threw, my refund across the counter at me. Second part of the story is: while my computer was being "repaired" and before we knew they were incompetent, we bought a refurbished laptop from them for a relative. Worked one time then started giving error about hard drive. It probably is best I not be there when my SO takes it back to them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY LIE ABOUT THE WORK THEY ARE PAID TO DO.

Computer Died

My sony laptop wouldn't turn on so I brought it to computer man. It turned out to be a bad motherboard they advised me the repair would be too expensive for my computer. They sold me a new one and transferred my data for free from the old one. Great service and very friendly.
