Very, very rude management. Recently had a birthday party there for a 5 year old and we were treated very poorly. The manager/lead on duty was very rude, impatient, talked down to us, and could care less about our experience. Even before we had the actual party, we were not thanked for our business, they did not communicate well and still, the manager DID NOT CARE AT ALL. That was our first time at Skate Galaxy & we loved the atmosphere, however we will not be back. If this is how Skate Galaxy treats their paying customers, we will save our time and money and go elsewhere.

If I could give it no stars I would. Terrible place 20 years ago this place was nice clean establishment. Would not recommend this place to anyone who cares about their children, and their children environment.

I drove 350 miles to get to the Pro Shop in Skate Galaxy, Switchblade, and I have to say, I have never received customer service this good in more than 20 years of skating. Brian called up team Vanilla to get suggestions on building me a custom speed skate for dancing and worked with me to help select the right build for my style of skating/dancing and personal preferences (mind you, I was contacting him back and forth over the phone for a week or so before making the drive). This has hands down been the best skate purchase I've made, and now that I've adjusted to them I'm finally able to skate at my full potential.

Also, the rink is very nice and clean. I love to travel and skate all over (have been to a lot of rinks) and this place was probably the cleanest rink I've ever been to. The floor is smooth and well kept. The rental skates all looked super clean and very well maintained, and even the bathroom was spotless. Brian let me test my new skates out and I got some time on the floor alone and I enjoyed the smoothness and level of grip the floor has. I can tell the owner of this place really cares about the business. I was extremely impressed with the customer service, the rink, and really enjoyed the overall experience of this purchase. I will definitely make the drive again to skate and make more shop purchases.

I learned to skate at this rink when I was about 4 or 5. That was back in the bell bottoms and disco age, lol!

The rink is still in great shape but like with all other rinks, I wish they would control skaters a bit more. It's quite disheartening to be skating along and suddenly someone crosses right out in front of you to get off the rink. Lord, I hope they don't drive this way when they grow up!

Charging for a request? Not cool. Good to see little or no cell phone use on the floor WHILE skating tho.

This place is great since they got new management. The staff is really friendly and I always have a great time skating.

I recommend this rink to anyone. The staff is really friendly, the floor is nice. They play family friendly music, they also make sure every customer is happy. If you are choosing between any skating rinks choose this one.

The customers are talked about in front of the staff and other customers and do not hesitate to curse in front of any customers adult or children. There are several children there that are present on a regular basis that are physically violent and are only made to sit for a small period of time (actually hitting and pushing other children into the walls). I wouldn't wait around for any apology as this business expects you to bow down instead of appreciate your business and the LARGE amounts of money you will spend in it. Unless you plan on being with your children and watching them every single moment you are there I wouldn't recommend this place.

Best place by far for skating. Music is great and the staff is amazing. We had my son's birthday party there and everyone had a blast, and I didn't have to worry about doing anything!

We had alot of fun. Havent skated in over 10 yrs., bt one I was on the floor, I enjoyed it. Dont be afraid to ask the DJ to ply what u like, cause he will ply it.

Terrible environment, the owner treats everyone like they are a peice of garbage. Publicly chews out employees for doing wrong. Which should be done behind closed doors in my opinion. Prices are outrageous. Just overall a terrible establishment.
