When I was becoming a physician, you wanted to be in a position where you would take care of the sickest of the sick. That's why I gravitated towards critical care medicine and pulmonology. In an ICU setting, you're taking care of the sickest patients, helping them at their most vulnerable. In a pulmonary setting, the faculty that is affected is the ability to breathe freely, the most basic function. I feel a great sense of duty, and it gives me great pleasure, to help patients breathe. I'm extremely detail oriented. We will review your imaging and labs and have a shared decision on your treatment options. When you leave my office, you will have a good understanding of your health condition rather than getting refills on medications or not. It is important that patients fully trust their physician and building a lasting relationship with my patients is extremely important to me.
