After being diagnosed with hypothyroidism and was on meds for years the doctors take me off and say I am fine. I went 3 years with no meds and I have moved between states and every doctor I would see said I had an enlarged thyroid, but I told them I was fine. I would like to say Dr. Pons and his staff are excellent. I was greeted and given a warm reception upon entering the facility. Throughout the process of vital signs etc...the LPN working with me was knowledgeable and very pleasant. Lastly, Dr. Pons came in and began working with me on a number of medical issues. My experience with Dr. Pons has been very positive. It was obvious from the first visit that he was treating me as an individual, not just another diabetes patient. He took the time to evaluate my specific symptoms and complete the proper tests to accurately diagnosis my condition. Dr. Pons is very knowledgeable and appears to have an extensive academic and research background. With that said, he has never talked down to me or acted arrogantly. I am very unhappy with this doctor

Bottom Line: Dr. Pons listens. He asks questions and then he listens. I have been diagnosed with multiple chronic diseases and ailments since January 2007. Each physician specialist has listened only to the symptoms pertaining to their individual specialty. Dr. Pons has questioned, researched and investigated all of my symptoms seeking the root cause rather than the obvious symptoms.
