Please do not confuse this company with the newly established Apex Roofing & CONSTRUCTION, LLC. Apex Roofing & Construction, LLC has no affiliation with Artown Roofing or their formally known entity, Apex Roofing & CONTRACTING.

I do NOT recommend Artown Roofing & Construction d/b/a Apex Roofing.. The ONLY good thing that came from it was the job was completed in one day. Although many issues were presented: a worker was caught looking in the bathroom window as I took a shower, my sons hood pins on his truck were stolen, one worker reeked of beer, and the best one.. workers horseplaying on top of our deck roof/awning causing it to fall to the ground and also damage our propane grill. They propped the deck roof up using 2x4's and nailed to said of house as if that repaired it. The deck roof is unstable and now very unsafe. When calling the company and talking to Darron Curtis I was told that he did not believe anything I said. He refused any responsibility for deck roof or replacement of damaged grill. His son on the other hand assured us that repairs to the roof and grill replacement would be done. Although they want my h/o ins to cover it.. they shld have liability ins for that. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

I used Apex roofing last summer. The company promises to do all this work, and go above and beyond any other company. I have realized I have been so scamed. Not only did they not finish the work they promised. They still are telling me I owe them money. They have changed their name to Artown Roofing and Contracting, because according to them there are other companies using the same name and not giving good service.

This company makes a lot of promises, did half the work agreed upon, as soon as the insurance paid, did nothing more.

They would produce no invoice or paper work, we had only what the insurance company gave us. When we wanted an explanation of the discrepancy between the charges and the amount paid, they became quite reactive.

The work that was done was not of a quality we'd have expected, and about the remaining work, different day, different story
