Dr. Bedell is a very knowledgeable and caring Dr who takes time with his patients. He helps you understand the importance of the most little thing. Jordan23 doesn't have a clue and probably doesn't like what he heard, did or did not get. Junkies takes one to spot one. Waiting time is a bit long but that's because he take time with his patients. That guy calling him a quack and saying junkies are lined up must not have been happy he had to wait or didn't like the answer. No class! As far as insurance after my deductible mine was taken just fine. Have been seeing him since 2011 and wont go anywhere else.

It's nice to finally find a place that takes the time to help me. I've been a patient to Dr. Raymond Bedell for over a year. My very first appointment I had to wait around 2 hours to be seen. I was VERY UNHAPPY. I'd taken the time to be there on time & I had not been warned that the waiting time would be long.If I remember it right, I was the last appointment before lunch, and they close the office from noon-2 or 2:30pm. According to my clock, it was already well past 1pm. I was imagining that when he did get to me it'd be a very quick appointment & I assummed that if I had questions, he'd be too rushed to answer them. When he came in I was surprised that the woman who worked at the front desk came in too. My husband was with us so it was a bit crowded in there. I know he hadn't looked over the chart I'd brought with me from my previous doctor. He came in and was very nice. He didn't behave like he was rushed. I was plesantly surprised that he took the time to listen to me & even asked me if I had a certain medical ailment & I asked him how he knew & he said he could tell just by observing me. He took the time to talk with me & made me feel that my time was just as valuable even though it was now his lunchtime. He took the time to explain my problems and why I felt a certain way. If I asked a question he made sure I understood the answer. I left the appointment much later than I'd anticipated, but I left feeling good about it & i didn't have any negative feelings towards him that I'd thought I'd have because of all the waiting. He doesnt make you feel like his time is more important thatnyour time. He seems to know what he's talking about. He also does occassional drug sweeps. Meaning he'll do random drug testing to make sure you're taking the medicine as you're supposed to do. I also want to mention that I was referred to him by my OB. I was struggling with my pain control & Dr. Bedell worked with me & helped me understand what I was doing & how it was affecting my baby. After I had my baby (whom was born very healthy! & I credit Dr. Bedell's help and knowledge to that) my meds were adjusted to help me get more control of my pain, and he'll work with you until you feel like you're as close to normal as possible.
