Swamp Buggy Tour

We went on the Captain Doug's combo tour. The air boats were awesome we had pelican s land on the boat. We had alligator s swim right by the boat . In the Swamp Buggy ride we saw a black bear the Captain stopped for pictures. What an awesome day it was.

terible waste of time

stopped at wootens for an airboat ride ,thought maybe they would tell you something about the everglade but i was wrong all they did for 30 minutes was race around thru the sawgrass ,they did stop once and we saw 1 aligator out. while coming and going on the water there was a gator on the bank but as i noticed on the way back he had not moved so figured it was fake looked to faded out to be real.. dont waste you time and money on this place.. pw indiana march 2013

A Total Ripoff!

We are from Fort Lauderdale, and drove 1.5 hours to get there. A throwback to the 1950s - - sad, sad, sad for the animals, and a rippoff for us. We paid $37.50 PER PERSON, the ride was promised at 50 minutes (it lasted 38 minutes). The guide was nice, but bored. The gift shop has the same cheap junk every other tourist trap has. We were driven in an airboat, essentially in circles, in about a half mile radius of the facility. We saw nothing. The lone egret flew away from the airboat noise, as did the two other birds. We were shown "last year's" gator nest - a tree with some twigs piled around it. There were two alligators in the water by the facility - we could have paid nothing and seen them for free. That was the whole experience. Do not waste your time or money on this. There were four of us, plus five other people on just this boat - this business made $337.50 in 40 minutes doing very little. I am irritated that I fell for this waste of time and money.
