This is my first time writing a review, but I was so impressed, I wanted to share my experience. First, I had several (4) large trees that I needed removed that we're near to my house and the power lines and several smaller trees. I was concerned with the location of these trees and the possibility of them falling on the house or lines when being cut.

I didn't know any tree services, so I called four services from the Penny Pincher and the Sun Herald that advertised as Licensed and Insured. Owner, Todd, responded and provided a witten estimate, a copy of his business license as well as his certificate of insurance. All four tree services came, and provided written estimates. Southern Tree Surgery provided the lowest bid to cut down, grind stumps, and haul away the debris.

They arrived when they said they would, went right to work, and did a great job. They did a real good job cleaning up. They had the right equipment to get the job done right, bucket truck, bobcat, new grinder, dump truck and plenty of good quality chainsaws.

I was totally satisfied with their work and their price and will definitely call them again for my next job and I highly recommend them. BTW I live is Saucier so them being in Ocean Springs was not a distance issue. I highly recommend you give them a chance at your next project.

Highly recommend for their professional, expert service. They removed six, eighty-foot pine trees, some within ten feet of my house without incident. They even saved a struggling water oak buried beneath the pine. All stumps debris were removed leaving the area so clean it is hard to tell that trees were there.
I am a nervous, high-strung worry-wart, who hated to take out the trees, but knew it had to be done, because several pines had fallen in the area. These trees were leaning into the house just waiting to snap on the water logged yard. After watching Todd's crew work on another project, I felt confident in their abilities. I highly recommend Southern Tree Surgery.
And yes, the price was great.

We could not be more pleased! Todd contacted us weekly to keep us informed on when he could come and called asap if it had rained too much to rescheduled. Perfect customer service! They worked so hard from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. they may have taken a break but i didnt see them. Removed one huge oaked, 4 large crepe myrtles, trimmed 7 trees..all for an unbelievable price! And left my yard immaculate! Never have we been more satisfied with a business. Thank you Todd and your awesome crew. David & Sarah

Southern Tree Surgery did a phenomenal job at a great price. Our two oak trees are beautifully trimmed. We highly recommend them.
