The people that work at this Publix (Canopy Oaks) are terrific, very nice, willing to help you out in many ways. Props to Debbie and others at the Pharmacy, who without their help, I would never figure out the hows and whats of medicine & insurance.

BUT, there are two bad issues with the store, it's prices and the crowd.

Canopy Oaks Publix has the highest prices on most of the items there (very few exceptions), plus they make so it hard to save...BOGOs are the only real deal. The bulk of the rest of the "sale" items require a higher outlay than Walmart regular prices. And make sure what you have is the actual item on sale, there is a lot of "narrowing" where you think you have the product on special but it is not the right size!!!

And then there is the crowd from "On Top of the World". When that nearby retirement housing development's residents set upon the store, it is a madhouse!!! The cry over the PA "All store personal to the front" is heard often. And trying to get around the "Walking Dead" is utterly impossible. And if you have (like I do) a handicap parking permit, forget it, rarely is one open! And don't THINK of parking in the golf cart spots!!!
