I know this is long, but if you consider renting here, you HAVE TO READ THIS!

This place is nothing but lies. Everything they promise you, is a lie. And I have the experiences to prove it. We were told, no kids are allowed to run around in the halls. LIE! This happens daily. Usually at night when you are trying to sleep. No drugs are allowed in the building. I smell weed, daily. And they may argue that they have routine checks. Yes they do. BUT-- they let everyone and their mother know a week before hand. And even on the notices it says if anything "breaking policy" is found, those people will be evicted. Of course nothing is ever found, because they give a warning! We were told 24 hour maintenance. I work retail, I worked hours upon hours on black friday. To get locked out on my front porch at 10pm. I was then stuck on my third floor porch, for FOUR HOURS, IN THE SNOW, IN THE COLD, waiting for "24 hour maintenance" to come save me. And when they did, I was told it was my fault because I called the wrong number. THERE IS ONLY ONE NUMBER! THERE IS ONLY ONE AUTOMATED MACHINE! THERE IS ONLY ONE EMERGENCY HOTLINE! Even after all this, I kept thinking, it won't get worse. Oh, but I was wrong. It is 80 degrees outside. I have two cats. It is 90 degrees in the apartment, considering we are on the third floor. If it gets ten more degrees warmer in my apartment, my cats will die from heat exhaustion. I had a problem with this yesterday. I called the maintenance guy came out and fixed it. Wrong. Later that night at 3am, I woke up sweating. Of course it broke again. So I called at 10am to the office to let them know. The lady on the phone told me the maintenance guy was standing right next to her and she would send him up to fix it. So I go to work thinking it will be ok. I come back at 5pm and it is still not working. The lady in the office told me the maintenance guy got called away to a different lot. How is that possible?! How is it that he can be standing next to you, then he gets called away?! LIAR! Washers and dryers? Oh, they have cameras to watch to make sure these are getting used properly, to find out who breaks them, and to find out who leaves their laundries for hours. LIES! The washers and dryers are ALWAYS BROKEN! We are lucky if we can get a load done when we need to for work. And when they are working, other residents leave their loads in for HOURS!!!! And they don't just keep track so no one else takes the washer or dryer, no they leave it in there.

Biggest issue, forget all sense of security here. The doors are constantly left open.

So what does management do about any of this?

THEY LEAVE COLORED PAPERED NOTES AROUND THE BUILDING! LIKE THAT DOES ANYTHING!

This place is a joke. Do not rent here.

Only one positive thing to say about this place. One of the maintenance guys actually has a heart. He is willing to help you when he can. That is the only thing you will have to look forward to if you rent here.
