New owners of this complex are more interested in making it look good than actually perform well. Laundry facilities are broken and have been for six months. Staff is rude. Maintenance is slow. Complex is loud and littered.

csdk ..new owners of greenbrook gardens say they will treat residents better than previous owners. well.. i f you call destroying beautiful old growth trees here at the base of the watchung mts better, wonder what else they hv in store for us! a large complex btw rock av and 475 west end av many sycamore and some types blossoming trees such as cherry hv most all been slaughtered by uncaring 1% ters who care not abt people or the environment.this complex was built w/ trees kept in the plans,situated at the very base of the watchung mts.people move here for just the reason of the beauty and old growth tree atmosphere and the deer that freely roam ,squirrels and birds. he place looks like a desert/barren ,trees gone ,no protection any longer (shady areas gone) no one can sit on their balconies.we can expect these apts to be like hotboxes nxt summer and now no protection from winter winds.privacy gone as all shrubs taken out making way for OPEN CONCEPT! WATCHUNG MTS IS NOT SUPPOSE TO BE OPEN CONCEPT. ITS NATURE HERE NOT A MANICURED COOKIE CUTTER LOOK! this area is known for its beauty and serenity , sdk has taken this away and many here are angry they never notified us ,just came in like gang busters and lie to us their reasons for destruction.raising rents too high,and what do we get!residents are not as they say, top priority.designed landscaping means get rid of old growth,no longer live in comfort ,no shade.charging for pets .there is no washe/dryer hookups in greenbrook gardens as they say,no real storage space,just one big room for all to share! demanding we pay liability ins. for their property ,not ours. from what im hearing the bankster banks are involved and paying sdk to destroy old growth trees, no respect for people or the nature of things ..only $$$$! oh yeah and no walkin closets! no longer unique as they still want to claim and no longer surrounded by beautiful old growth shady trees, gone! trees thinned out down along highway area ,now noise and pllution barrier gone and pssible crime are due to open
