it was great. everybody did help me to unload the metal. and it's convenient to weigh with big scale!

I just came back from Top Dollar, and was very disappointing! A few months ago I went to a competitor, and received three times the dollar amount for far less items...Top Dollar... maybe you should change your name to "One-Third the Price"!

I went there to recycle some copper, aluminum, and steel, about 750 pounds worth.

The girl in the office who apparently makes all the decisions and runs the place, told me i had to have a letter from the place i got this stuff from. Well that was after two of us had spent 20 minutes loading everything in their bins to be weighed. I told her that was not going to happen, I have been recycling metals form our jobsites for many years and have never been turned down before. So we went to Nevada Recycling about a mile away from there, and they were kind, courteous, and knowledgeable unlike Top Dollar. Nevada Recycling also gave us over $200 more for the metals than top dollar would. Top Dollar actually did us a favor by doing what they did, but i will NEVER go back to Top Dollar again!

Top Dollar Recycling is a well organized recycling plant with very reasonable prices for the things that you recycle. Plus, they take a lot more different things then other recycling places don't usually take and their prices per pound on things are anywhere from $.05 to $.10 more then other places i have been to recently and in the past. Another benefit for me is that Top Dollar Recycling plant is extremely close to my house (1.6 miles) so that's an added bonus! So, TOP DOLLAR RECYCLING is the place I am going to continue to go to until I can find a place that pays more or whatever! But that doesn't look like that will be happening soon. The only down fall is they say they close at 6 but they usually start closing down at 5:30 pm.
