Not customer friendly

Pioner Village has changed hands 3 times in the past 4 years, with spiraling rates, and unreasonable cancellation fees.

Cancellation fees being the killer.

EXAMPLE: Premium lot is $2705 for Jan, Feb, March. 25% due at time of res.($676). Another 50% due 90 days before res. starts($1352). Last 25% due when you arrive ($1353). IF you have to cancel inside of 60 days Before res. starts, they will keep ALL of the money you have paid to date ($2028)!!



I suggest that you make your reservation at the last minute so you have no monies in their hands until you are ready to stay. They had 25% or higher vacancy in the 2007-2008 season because of the increased rates.

The vacancy rate will proba ly go even higher for the 2008-2009 season because of thier policies, and increased fuel prices.
