I have been a scrapper in the Lowcountry since I was old enough to drive (about 20 years). I have have had experience with most of the companies in the immediate area and some not. Some bad, some good.. As with all companies.. I have seen their workers come and go.. With American Metals, I have never had a bad experience. I must say, they get you in and out efficiently, pay is average, but the mood.. The mood is why i go there.. Everyone seems upbeat and friendly.. Quick to help you.. The service is definitely on the positive side.. Kudos to American Metals... I will continue to take my scrap there..

So besides the fact THEY ARE JERKS, THEY ONLY GIVE 4 CENTS PER POUND, SO EVERYONE KNOWS, YOULL SPEND MOREBIN GAS GETTING THERE. THEY WILL MAKE YOU WAIT ON THE SCALE TILL ITS CLOSING TIME JUST TO TELL YOU THEY ARE CLOSED AND TO LOAD IT BACK IN UR TRUCK__but wait, I WAS THERE AT 435 pm!! MAY BE IF YALL DIDNT MAKE US WAIT ON SCALE TILL CLOSING MAYBE YOU WOULD OF ACTUALLY TAKEN IT?! OR MAYBE THEY JUST ARENT GETTING ANY BUSINESS AND CANT PAY OUT??! IF YOU LIKE DEALING WITH JERKS OR LIKE WASTING ALL UR TIME AND GAS AND EFFORT...GO TO AMERICAN METALS! If you want to get TREATED FAIRLY, GO TO B& D...THOSE BOYS WILL TREAT YOU RIGHT!!! Amen!!!
