I am very pleased with the service here. I just recently asked about bottle returns and the girl on the phone was very friendly and explained the process. I also enjoy the selection of beer, wine and other products.

Poor Knowledge and Service

My family and I have attempted to work with Lincoln's for a 50th birthday wine tasting we were having and my grandmother went there multiple times to meet with the store manager about the event at times that the other emplyees said he would be working, but he was never there. We had finally reached them and they made an agreement to serve the wine at our event. However, as the date got closer, we called multiple times to get ahold of them and went in multiple times to leave our phone number for the manager, who never got back to us. Need less to say, we were left without a host for this event due to the lack of organization and customer service this store and it's managers obtain. Additionally, I was in Lincoln Liquors today and once again experienced very poor customer service. My cousin and I were in there to buy a large amount of blended wine to make Sangria. We were looking for a blended Red wine. We had spent an hour in there looking at and comparing different wines without anybody asking if we needed help. We finally asked for assistance from one of the employees about one of the wines who responded to our question with, "I don't know, but if you can find one of the other guys who is working they know more about wine." Their knowledge was so poor we resorted to Google for information. Finally, one of the other guys came over to help and I would say he was probably trying to be a functioning alcoholic. His words were slurred and he really was no help at all. he reccommended a few wines and we started asking questions about them and he responded i dont know there are so many and walked away. Considerig the store was about 50% of wine and the employees work with it every day, I was discouraged at their lack of education and the guy's suggestion to make sangria with sangria. Finally, we went with a wine we researched on Google. After we spent over an hour trying to find the best wine, we went to pay and I had forgot my wallet, which had my ID. After already dealing with their poor service, they were especially rude because we didn't both have our IDs. He said, "can't sell but you can both come back if you live close" and said nothing further. After our first poor experience with the party, our family said we would never go back there again, but due to the convenience of its proximity to Market Basket we went there. Now, we will NEVER go back and spent our money at Billerica Liquors instead, who were very sweet and helpful!
