We had a power surge and the washing machine stopped working, so I called a few places in town. Perhaps I wasn't explaining it correctly or what, but no one seemed to understand a word I was saying....until I called Cook's Appliance in Nixa. The girl on the phone said she could get someone out today between 12pm-5pm. The guy showed up at 3:20pm and he called me when he was on his way. That's a first for me to have any service guy call prior to coming to the house. The service guy knew exactly was was wrong, what stopped working and was able to fix it today - the SAME day. I'm impressed and will tell anyone that Cook's Appliance is the place to call when needed. I mentioned I was thinking about buying a washer and dryer set, but wanted to save a bit more money in order to do so. The service guy told me Cook's has lots of inventory in-house, priced fair. I am going to their store tomorrow to see their selection. He also told me that their scratch and dent appliances come with a 1-yr manufacture warranty and the used appliances come with a 30-day warranty. I'll be back to let you know what I find!
