Horses Healing Humans programs are designed for participants of all ages. This program is designed to help special needs people, including those with ADD, ADHD, Autism, Multiple Sclerosis, Depression, and Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome (PTS). Equine-assisted therapy is a mystery but we know that the horses help people work through sadness, grief, fear, and uncertainty, teaching us to respect boundaries and develop self awareness, self esteem and self control. Provided by YP.comThe special needs program at HHH is fantastic! Our daughter was motivated to learn through riding the horses. I was amazed. I knew that she would have fun. But she has learned how to think and understand things at home thru the program. It is NOT a pony ride here....as it is as the other large place in Lexington. It is therapy, fun and incentive for my daughter to learn and grow. And it is because of the extra effort put into by all of the Horses Healing Humans staff. I only wish I had found Rosemary and Fancy (the horse) earlier.
