The guys did a great job taking a tree off our house (and other related tree work) after Hurricane Sandy. Prompt, professional, friendly and very reasonable.

With the mess of hurricane Irene, we needed trees taken down, trees that fell taken care of, stumps removed, and wood cut and split. Kevin & sons were the only ones that would do the whole job. His quote was clear and his work excellent and professional.



He even added topsoil and seeded the areas that had been destroyed. What a pleasant surprise! My husband and I cannot recommend Kevin enough. There are not enough stars!

For years we had wet basement problems and tried several different solutions which did not resolve the problem. In early spring this year I contacted several different excavators to bid on our project, some of which did not show up and others who turned the job down due to several obstacles that existed with the foundation of our home that made the job more complicated than the typical footer drain replacement. Yacko & Sons (Kevin) promptly responded to my inquiry, came to our home, surveyed the problem and provided an estimate for the work. The difficulties associated with our project were clearly explained to me and I was assurred Yacko & Sons had done similar types of jobs in the past. Prior to any work commencing on my house Yacko & Sons asked me to visit one of their current projects so I could get a better idea of the type of work that would be done on my home. Our project was started on time and finished well within the time frame and cost initially quoted to us. All of Yacko & Sons workers were hard working and did what was necessary to get the job done correctly. I was impressed with how they handled the difficulties our job presented.

I would highly recommend Yacko & Sons for any wet basement/excavation project. Kevin does a great job communicating the project status to his customers and managing his staff to ensure things are done correctly and on time. Kevin also knows other professionals if you require additional work on your home. He recommended some stone masons that built a beautiful patio for us.

I've needed a solution to my wet basement problem for years, and wasted so much time with everyone who claimed to be an expert on curtain drains, but would never give me a written estimate or guarantee their work. Kevin Yacko and his crew showed up, inspected the problem, gave me a written quote the very next day, worked with me to arrange a payment schedule that fit my situation, and did the work as promised and on time. No more mold or dampness, problem solved and the property looks better than when they started. Great communication, easy to talk to and work with, I highly recommend and consider them the best.

Kevin and his team were reliable and professional. They are knowledgable,friendly,and no hidden charges! He is upfront and honest with what his company is capable of doing.They came on time and finished in a timely manner. Very clean finish work as well.

I would recommend Kevin and his team to anyone with wet/damp basements or any type of drainage problems. The odor is much less to almost non-existent in the basement. He guarantees his work and that is one of the biggest bonuses for our family!

Kevin is very well interconnnected with a variety of other professionals as well.If there is other work to be done on your property he stands behind the quality and workmanship that he brings to your door.

We needed our chimney repointed and didn't know anyone reliable.Kevin introduced us to a contractor and it was done right away. We can not thank him enough for all that he has done and to return in the spring to do more site work for us.
