My company has been using CRS for the past three years. Since then, much of the cost for driving has been passed to me. The change from runzheimers to CRS has resulted in a net cost increase of 1500-2000 per year for me, out of pocket. The system allows for the company to manipulate the base vehicle and to take advantage of manipulative math to their benefit. The fixed payment gets adjust down quickly when the drivers mileage decreases, but it may take 4 to 6 months to adjust upwards when the drivers mileage increases. It's great for the company, a rip-off for the driver. It's simply a way for the company to shift their expenses to their employee and feel good about it.
