Tom,Back in April, you painted the upstairs of my house and my wife and I had been meaning to post a review on Angie's List, but when I finally got around to it today, I discovered that I'd have to pay, which I'm not willing to do because we don't have much cause to use it. However, for what it is worth, I wrote a quick review below. Please feel free to use it on your website or in your advertising. I apologize for taking so long to do this--thank you for wonderful work.My wife and I used Family Painters to paint the upstairs of our home and were so impressed with Tom's efficiency, professionalism, creative input, and knowledge. We had painted many of the rooms in our house ourselves but the vaulted ceilings in our living room intimidated us. Tom was not only unintimidated, he was eager and excited to help make our sterile-looking white room into something vibrant and cozy. He helped us sort through the myriad color choices we had and played with numerous ideas about which walls to paint what, explaining how certain colors and contrasts would create different moods. We immediately realized we were in an expert's hands. He did not rush us, but allowed us to make the choices. He even called when picking up the paint to explain some concerns he had about one of the choices. Any other painter would have just bought the paint and done the room and said, "Well, that's what you wanted." Not Tom. He used his immense expertise to help us be confident in our selection. His desire to not simply finish the job but to create a perfectly realized room astounded us. A room that would have taken my wife and me two weeks to complete, if at all, took Tom fewer than three days. He didn't simply paint, either; he cleaned up our walls, fixed a lot of the shoddy work the builders had left. When he was done, our walls had been transformed, now smooth and vibrant, alive with color both exciting and soothing, eye-catching and homey. We could not be more pleased. As a final note, the cost of his stellar work was far below what we had estimated, which makes Family Painters the all-around best deal for all your painting needs.
