We were thoroughly pleased with the professionalism and skill level of Terry (the attending plumber). I appreciated the fact that he took the time to explain (what he was doing and why he was doing it) as he was working on the job. He did a "super job". If I have a need in the future, I will be specifically asking for Terry.

The lady who wrote the review above me is spot on. I don't typically call big companies because they tend to fleece you, but I needed something done fast and didn't mind paying a little extra for it.



They bill by the hour (which I knew) and charge an insane amount for parts (which I had no idea). I renovate and re-sell houses, my job should have cost 400 - 600 and taken a max of 3 hours for 1 guy.



Guy shows up, leaves the site for an hour to get parts he didn't have (PEX... what plumbing company doesn't have PEX in their work van?) and does the job. It takes him about 4 hours and he chats me up for half an hour. They try to bill me for 5 hours and $210 for material. Material, if they had to buy a crimper would have been $70 at Lowes. They try to bill me $825... I laughed and said I'm not paying that. He called his boss and they dropped it to $765. I told him, I'd give them $600 (a really high price for the work done)... he put me on with the boss... some BS about inventory for parts, that's why they were so much and basically tells me he's a "christian company" and that they have tons of satisfied customers and so I should be too. Got him to drop to $685 and thought about telling him to take me to court, but it wasn't worth it over $85.



Avoid these guys at all costs unless you want to pay through the nose. They over charge and under deliver. I had to re-plumb the sink because he didn't shim it so it wouldn't wobble and it developed a leak.

Excellent service. I will definitely let my friends and family know if they need a plumber to call A-1 Plumbing.

Move on to the next plumbing company. Way overpriced, employees who lack knowledge. Took 4 hours for 2 plumbers to install a dishwasher. One was very interested picking the protective plastic off. Of course the install kit included with the dishwasher was wrong and they would have to use one off their truck. Extra fee.... My garbage disposal had to be replaced and they had one on their truck. Extra fee Oh and why would anyone need 4 feet of copper tubing under their sink? Apparently I do!!!!!....should have charged them for all the cigarette butts I had to clean up from my driveway. You bet I spoke to the owner who laughed yes, laughed at me and said I was a "silly women" and I don't understand how things work. I understand he worked my check book over. Well the bill went from $3500.00 to $1500.00, silly women knows how to review and blog and wrote a complaint to the BBB. So the question is how can they take a $2000.00 hit, if the don't pad the price....Use only if you don't mind flushing money down the drain.
