Operational since 1952, Colonial Concrete Company is one of the largest producers of ready-mix concrete in northern New Jersey. It offers mixes for the construction of footings, slabs, curbs and sidewalks. The company provides concrete admixtures from the CHROMIX brand. Its admixtures improve workability, offer denser concrete, and minimize surface bleeding and segregation. Colonial Concrete Company also provides synthetic and steel fibers, as well as corrosion inhibitors from the DCI brand. The company offers products for commercial, residential and industrial projects in Bergen, Essex, Morris, Passaic and Union counties in New Jersey. Its projects include the Prudential Center, Riverfront Stadium, Red Bull Arena and Meadowlands Sports Complex. The company operates ready-mix manufacturing plants and a fleet of delivery trucks equipped with computerized concrete dispatching and batch control systems.
