Be careful when you purchase blinds here. My wife went to Janovic to purchase a set of blackout shades for our baby's room and was upsold by Tabatha with the assurance that the Hunter Douglas Duets were a far superior product which she used in her own kids rooms. The Duets were 5 times more expensive ($1,500), but Otis came out to our apartment to measure for the Duets and reiterated that this was the proper product for our window. When the Duets were installed, there was a 1 1/2 inch gap between the Duet and the window frame which let in way too much light. We called customer service who sent out the head installer. The head installer insisted that the Duets were properly installed and the problem was with the type of window we had. We called Bill Hudgins, the head of customer service, who reviewed our file and said he would call back to discuss some resolution. After a week, he still had not called back. When I called him, he said there was nothing he was willing to do.

Janivoc's employees knowingly sold us a very expensive product that they knew would not work for our window and is now refusing to work with us in any way. They have been rude and unresponsive in dealing with us. I would not recommend them to anyone.
