We took our car in for fronts ...

We took our car in for fronts strut. my wife was told there was some wear on the tires and would she like to have them replaced? The only problem is that she was at the tire store the day before and the tires were brand new had less than ten miles on them. Quoted $1200 for the struts, went elsewhere after the tire event and got the struts done for $700.
