My daughter went to Hyde and Seek for 3 years. For the most part I was very happy with her experience with her teachers and other staff members. If I had an issues I knew I could discuss with the owner and she would address it. Although they do not include food, you are paying for a fully highly accreditated child care program. I would rather supply my childs food since she is so picky anyway so for me it was no big deal. We are still in contact with the staff and visit on a regular basis since my daughter misses the teachers she had their.

Hyde & Seek childcare, unfortunately, was not a good fit for my child. The center cares for infants through school aged children, and has a preschool program. I was eager to get my child into a center that replicated the school experience and would be a place in which to make friends and learn.



The center was overwhelming for my child. There was not enough one-on-one or relationship building with the caregivers in the room. A positive aspect was how aware the employees were of the children - they all knew the kids' names, regardless of which classroom the child was in.



I did hear a lot of sharp talking to the children when I came and went to the center. (It's easy to let yourself into the school and not be seen; so you overhear a lot.) I heard employees yelling at the kids; such as: "What-EVER, Sally! I don't care if your mom said you can stay inside; you're going outside!" and "Not only did you interrupt me, but you were RUDE! Go sit down!", etc. The staff could stand to improve in that area. I know children try our patience, but I expect more from a daycare business.



Cost was high. Food is not included. Our new daycare is quite a lot cheaper and healthy breakfast, lunch, and snacks are included. It makes it easier to get out of the house every day and it saves a lot of money.



The school does a lot of activities, field trips, and exciting projects. However, they are mainly targeting the older (3 1/2 yrs and up) children.
