Since 1921, Fleming Steel Company has been a designer, manufacturer and installer of custom-built doors. It has provided doors to regional airlines, aircraft manufacturers, general aviation, U.S. Armed Forces, corporate aviation facilities and industrial plants, both domestically and internationally. The company offers a wide variety of door systems for acoustic, shielding, flood, blast, anechoic and thermal. It provides retro-fit equipment, as well as a complete line of doors, such as aircraft hangar, industrial steel and special application. The company is a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC). In 1991, Fleming Steel Company purchased Ferguson Door Company of California.
