Ok… so you may be thinking , or at least I think my first thought would be, “If they do all this, how could they do quality work in any of the fields if they don’t specialize in one area?” Well the answer is….. Once upon a time….. I owned and operated a construction company with an ex-husband, then met a licensed electrician. Not only was he an electrician but over his career as an electrician he also was trained in plumbing. Now as we merged our families, Tom the father of two boys and Gay the mom of a girl and a boy soon became yours, mine, and ours! Shortly after the addition of our little surprise boy who is now eight! We left our jobs and went into business on our own. We specialized in electrical and plumbing, residential and commercial, but grew fast into all aspects of the construction industry. Tom is the type of man who prides himself in being reasonable and doing quality work without raking someone over the coals. We learned a lot through the years, most of all we learned that it’s hard to find someone in this industry that you can trust to do quality work, and take pride in that work as if it were their own home or property. We learned that mostly by having to work with other contractors on job sites. We found it insane that almost anyone with a truck could call themselves a contractor or that the contractors that have been in business for years could charge what they charged. We have been fortunate enough through our experience to weed those types of contractors out of the equation and have put together a quality pool of contractors with integrity that can be trusted to handle anything the way you would yourself, if you had the tools, knowledge or time! Because Tom, myself and now our older children have so much experience in different fields we came up with the concept of WE R U. You already know Toms background and a little of mine, I also have an extensive background in management, fundraising and event planning. Our boys have experience in the construction industry and our daughter has worked closely with the elderly and caretaking. We thought who better to use as business colleagues than those we personally raised with integrity, care and compassion! WE R U is your one stop place for many needs, once you have worked with us you will have peace of mind knowing you can call us for many of your needs and get the same quality and care without having to call several different companies and wonder whether it will be a good experience or a costly nightmare.
