Volk Packaging Corporation, established in 1967 by Benjamin Volk (1910-1996) and his son, Kenneth, was the first tenant in the new Biddeford Industrial Park off Route One in Biddeford, Maine. Kenneth Volk is now retired and his brother, Douglas A. Volk, President and Chief Operating Officer now runs the forty two year old corrugated sheet plant. Ken's son, Derek, serves as Vice President at this third generation family business. In the past forty years the Volk family has worked hard to live up to the words of Ben Volk's motto, "Our Customers are Our Bread and Butter." Volk Packaging designs, manufactures and distributes high quality corrugated products including shipping containers, inner packaging, and point-of-purchase displays throughout New England. Volk markets its goods to customers in a diverse range of businesses including electronics, technology markets, food and beverage industries, printing, woodworking, etc. Volk has dedicated itself to establishing strong relationships with its many customers who have come to view Volk as a strategic business partner. Today, Volk Packaging Corporation is one of the largest independent corrugated box manufacturers in New England.
