Provided by YP.comI normally don't write reviews for companies, but had to make an exception with this one! I had an antivirus spyware program attach itself to my computer and wreak havoc. I found this company at Yellowpages.com and called. They quoted me the one-time fee, and although they wound up spending over 8 hours on and off on my computer, they never charged me an additional cent! There were Verizon issues as well, and it was very difficult, but Rick, the main go-to guy at United Geeks, is persistent, professional and works to see the job gets done no matter what. Wonderful company, can't say enough good things about them.

Provided by YP.comI have had a horrible experience with this company. I sent them my hard drive in October of 2008. It was supposed to take 3 days. After 6 months of daily back and forth phone calls, one excuse after another, I had it. I put up a negative review and somehow they were able to remove it so I hope this message will save some people from going through what I had to endure. I just wanted my hard drive returned! Finally it was sent back (I hope it is mine) with a check to get it done somewhere else because they were unable to do it. Of course the check is no good and I am left with a portion of my hard drive. I have wasted so much time and energy on this it makes me sick to my stomach. Rick seems like a good guy, but I cannot trust a word he says. He is now no longer returning phone calls. This company is NO good. Do not be fooled by the good price.

Provided by YP.comI very seldom write reviews but just got off the phone with Rick. his expertise in Windowsxp and networking got all three of our computers linked up and we all can now print on our wireless printer. We had spoken with another company that said Vista and xp could not be networked Well I have returned a call to them just to let them know we are now networked and in less than 2 hours Thanks again for all the help and I intend on telling all my family and friends

Provided by YP.comAfter speaking with several companies I made the decision to go with United Geeks I must say I was very pleased with the level of knowledge the person had with whom I was connected. His patience and understanding of my lack of knowledge when it came to my pc was very comforting. The help to get my computer back up and running was just the beginning of the total service given. The person got my computer back up to the speed it once had a long time ago.
If you are having problems I would definately call this company for my experiece with them was very satisfying both the service and the pricing.

Provided by YP.comOn the plus side Rick spent 5 hours working on my PC to remove an antivirus trojan. On the minus I also spent 5 hours hanging around my PC and ultimately the problem was not resolved. I called back several times but did not receive a return call. - Bob
This is a bogus review fr this gentleman and I spoke several times and I told him to cntact I-tunes because he was virus free and that was an apple issue He was not charged

Provided by YP.comRick is so Awesome! I had every virus and spy ware you could think of. Rick took his time and completely rejuvenated my entire computer. Rick is far better than Dell every imagined to be, in fact Dell had my computer in such a disaster it took Rick almost a week to repair it. He never let us down, he worked on it for hours and hours at a time even on Christmas Eve. Not to mention he speaks english. It was pleasure to work with him. My Husband and I highly recommend this company to anyone!

Provided by YP.comIf your hard drive crashes or refuses to cooperate, why spend upwards of $2000 to get it fixed and get all of your data back when you can call these guys! They rocked, my drive got there on a Thursday, by Friday afternoon it was fixed and being sent back to me, fully 100% restored. Use them. They're good.

Provided by YP.comWhile having trojans surreptitiously loaded on your computer is never a great experience, Rick from United Geeks helped eradicate the nasty malware, adware and spyware. The service was provided remotely which means that I didn't have to disconnect, load and transport my computer. It also elimintated having to wait around for an onsite visit. I was taught how to prevent these problems in the future as well and given recommendations on software. Rick even helped me scan my flashdrive that had one of the nasty trojans on it.
The businesses' mission and vision is to provide low cost, high quality service to their customers. They don't have high overhead so cost savings are passed on to consumers. Your call is really important to them so they answer the phone! On occasion you may have to hold, but you aren't put into an endless loop of menus. Even more astonishing was that Rick spoke American english and was located in the United States. I found his instructions easy to understand and I'm far from being a computer expert.
Overall I was very pleased with the service and value. I will definitely recommend United Geeks to my family and friends.

Provided by YP.comI called United Geeks and the welcoming technician walked me through issues because my internet wasn't connecting due to a virus. After he realized it was also a hardware issue, the technician I spoke with said I could order the parts and later walk me through installing them. Because I was uncomfortable installing the parts myself, I asked for a refund so I could take my computer somewhere that could do it for me. The technician was very polite and responsive and had no problems with doing it. Immediately I was completely refunded my payment. United Geeks delivered a very amenable service. Thank you =D

Provided by YP.comI contacted United Geeks after reading their very positive reviews. After waiting too long to get help with my laptop, I thought there would all sorts of problems with it. The technician I worked with was Anthony; he was able to root out the source of my problem and fix it. I was really surprised how easy it was, and best of all I didn't have to take my laptop in for service and experience any down time. If you are like me and hesitant about having your system worked on, please consider calling United Geeks. Rick explained how they work and even called me to follow up and make sure the service was satisfactory before billing my card. Come on, how often does that happen? They're all about customer services which is sorely lacking these days.

All the viruses were removed and the computer is working in the best condition. I am really surprised at the customer services from this company.
