I had a flat tire and was stranded on the side of the road. My roadside assistance contacted United Towing and at 8:36 pm they reported that they would arrive by 9:21 pm (plus or minus 10 minutes). An automated service called at 9:07 pm to say they would be there within 15 minutes. At 9:32, the automated number called again, but I didn't pick up on time. When I tried to call back, it was a non-working number (at least for answering calls). I immediately called my roadside assistance who contacted United Towing who stated that they'd be ANOTHER HOUR before getting their act together (from 8:36 pm to at least 10:40 pm). Adding insult to injury, the companies automated number called again at 9:42 to confirm the service was being performed or was completed (to press 1) or if I was still waiting (to press 2). I pressed "2" and it hung up on me with nothing further. In summary, United Towing NEVER SHOWED UP, NEVER FOLLOWED UP and I WALKED HOME, as far as they are concerned, I'm still there. PLEASE DO NOT HIRE OR CONTRACT THIS COMPANY! THEY WILL LEAVE YOU ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WITHOUT APOLOGY!
