Hi Guys!

First off---Congrats on the big day!!! There were tornado warnings 2 hours before I was to walk down the aisle.... expect the

unexpected! :)

You guys cannot go wrong with Spectrum Sound. One of my bridesmaids got married a few years ago and I remember how FUN

her reception was....Terry with Spectrum Sound was her DJ. When pricing around - they were on the top end of the pricing but let

me tell you, it was totally worth it.

This is their business. They are professionals and it shows. Terry's motto was that he wanted my day to be exactly what I wanted it

to be and he was there the entire planning. He drove to the reception site well in advance to go over the layout and meet with the

people about the sound and electric. He provided a binder which helped to go over exactly what I wanted at the reception. We met-

-geesh-- one or two times to make sure we had it down.

I plan events for my profession and he has been one of the best to work with! My goal was elegant fun and Terry has booked I

think 2 or 3 weddings since my reception.

At the reception, he was the man behind the scenes. He made sure the cake lady was ready before the announcement, he brought

us our first drink of the evening and really set the tone for the evening. His voice is amazing and what I loved was that the

reception was about us.... I've been to a few where the DJs take over and he was far from that.

I have friends that said my wedding/reception have gone down in the top 3 all time favorites (which is a HUGE compliment coming

from them... some of them are like "wedding crashers") Ha.

Terry really tailored our day for us. There were some things that we didn't want to do that are considered "traditional reception"

events like the bouquet toss and garter toss. He didn’t try to push us into anything we didn't want. Very respectful.

One service I wish we would have done through him that we did not was recording the reception. We have the service recorded

from the church but I wish we had the reception too!

Amanda, from one bride to another, he is very organized and makes the planning much easier. I've planned tons of events but

never a wedding and he seemed to just "get it".

Thank you so much for taking some time out of your sick day. We both really appreciate the candid feedback.

As you're probably well aware, it's sometimes difficult to evaluate cost vs. VALUE of the vendor in cakes/DJs etc... So hearing all

that helps out a ton.

Amanda and I had already met with him before you sent this so this just further builds his case. I do also appreciate you being

forward with the cost evaluation, as we did realize he is towards the top end.

He already told us about the first drink / cake arrangements, thank goodness :). We definitely got the impression of how business

professional he is, as opposed to other DJ's that will talk you up and down about how "awesome and clear" their sound system is.

We just got the impression on how he listens and put us first, to hear this practiced definitely makes decisions easier.

Now we've only got a few more vendors to knock out as this one appears to be pretty much wrapped up.

Your letter really put my fiancée at ease, as she, like most brides to be; are trying the create the "perfect day."

Again, I hope for no Tornadoes / Warnings... but hey, as you said, expect the unexpected. I don't think she's worried about the

weather as much as someone bringing our 55lb Black Lab dog to crash the wedding.
