First of all smiths disposal has been excellent for years. The new advanced disposal appear to be terrible. I am looking for new garbage pick up service in the Clarkston area

SMITH'S Disposal was fantastic! They were above and beyond with their client service and always happy to answer questions, etc. I just wish they had researched the company they would sell their business too, because the one that bought it is the absolute WORST. Don't return calls, don't pick up trash, etc etc...don't need that headache. Happy Retirement, Smith's! Go jump in your own trash, ADvanced.

We've never had a problem and the staff has always helpful and friendly. They have never refused to pick up larger items although I do call ahead to see if it is something they can take. We've used them since we moved to the area more than 15 years ago and are extremely happy.

Great company with great employees. I recently had to call about a special pick-up and the women on the phone was very helpful. I was instructed to have the item out front super early. I like most people got caught up in my morning routine and rushing to leave for work that I completely forgot! I raced to turn around and just as I pulled back in the drive to pull the item from the garage Smith's was just passing by. I flagged the driver down and explained I forgot and I just needed a minute to retrieve the large item. The driver was super nice told me not to worry and that he would pull back around. I offered to assist him getting the item in the truck and he insisted that he had it from there and there was no need for me to be any later than I was for work.

We've had Smith's Disposal since we bought our first home 10 years ago! We've had nothing but great service and I love that I see their name supporting our community and those around us. Everywhere I look I see Smith's logo on a kids sports team or community event sponsorship sign. We believe in supporting the businesses that support our community!

Terrible. Very limited pickup. The employees throw people's trash cans into the street. Their trucks leak fuel in the street. When they leave, it smells like a refinery in the street. I have complained directly to them, the township, and to the county. Nobody cares. Our street drains go into a protected wetlands-- so down into the wetlands go their fuel. Just a horrible and irresponsible company.

This is the worst business ever. They don't believe in customer service. Customer is always wrong. If I could give no stars that would be my choice. Twice in the last month they have failed to pick up my trash. It is never their fault it is ALWAYS the customers fault. They will raise the rates and take your money but not always your trash. THIS COMPANY STINKS!!!!!!!

Been with them since 1989 paid them over $7,000. 00 they are the most obstinate company I have ever had to work with, they run over my landscaping throw the cans in the bushes. When we report it, (We are so sorry won't happen again) then it like revenge for reporting you can count on something new happening. The mentally of all the employee wow how can they all end up in one place? I had a 1/2 of bag dead house plants they won't take them too soon for mulch. I will do everything to find a company that want's my business.
