It’s my opinion that this towing company and others are abusing a city ordnance. They are towing away and impounding vehicles with now oversight and then charging owners $185 for doing so. They apparently have the authority to drive into private lots ask very little questions and then just tow it away as long as you don’t come running out the door. There is no reason to charge someone $185 for a tow away that is being picked up same day. It’s simply abusing the privilege that was granted them by the city and extorting it for their financial gain. Stay clear of them and West Lafayette. They will stalk you and snag your car the moment you walk away and claim they are within rights.

Was told where to park at McCormick Place Apartments and my my mom(who came from out of town) was towed anyways. The man who towed her was very unpleasant and called us both liars. He said we both didn't know how to read signs and thought it would be appropriate to give me a lecture on how sick and tired he was of college students thinking they could away with everything while using profanity.

I was staying the night with my girlfriend at McCormick Place Apartments. My car was parked in the guest parking lot, where I was supposed to park. Pearsons came in and towed my car out of the guest lot. I was parked properly in a parking space in the guest lot. Pearsons told me they towed it because it was improperly parked

My roommate got a flat tire in our condo complex, we called Pearsons to get it towed to a local repair shop. The lady on the phone sounded very unhappy and was not pleasant to talk with. We told them a time to tow the vehicle and waited for them to arrive. 30 minutes past the expected time they had not arrived. I called again and spoke with a man who was just as unhelpful and told us the reservation had been cancelled. They were neither apologetic nor helpful. I then called J.R. enterprise and they were at our building within the hour. A very unpleasant experience with Pearson.
