Tis October my son and I purchased a face cored of mixed hard wood to help heat our garage. When we arived we were directed to a pie next to the office, as soon as my son and I started picking up pieces, we told the yard guy they were heavy like unseasoned. He ashured us it was just a little wet and would burn just fine. After loading it up I headed to the office to pay but was intercepted by yard guy again and was instructed to pay him in cash. This guy clamed to be part owner, so he was paid and we left.. This wood 90 days later, stored along a garage under tarp to sheald from rain and snow will not burn on its own. When plced on a hot fire it smokes,snaps,pops, and spits out sap.This wood takes more BTU to burn than it gives off !!!! Sure glad I didn't get a full cored of this shit. Dont trust that guy pick your own pile, or leave empty !!!!!
