Since moving to Hunter's Mtn four months ago I found it to be more than I expected. I was in the process of moving to Florida, however the real estate taxes and the homeowners insurance over the last year had escalated well beyond what I was willing to spend in retirement. I searched for a place that was accessible to Montgomery, Dothan AND Florida.and found it here in Troy Alabama. As any well kept park of manufactured homes there are rules that must be followed for the common good. The security of the park is what they claim, not just empty words. The entire staff is available to help anyone with problems that may arise.. Down sizing from a home with lots of land to care for and being retired, I could not have found a better place. I do my own landscaping within my boundaries, use the pool, excersize room and tanning bed. Shame on anyone that doesn't at least take a look see at this property. I would have rated it six stars, but they only allow five.

Hunters Mountain is very safe and clean place to live. The pool is great during summer month.
