We had a sprinkler system installed in our front yard back in 2012 by another company who was rather expensive but did a decent job. Part of the system extended to a row of Arborvitae in our back yard.



In spring of this year (2105), Flamingo gave us a good estimate for extending the sprinkler system to connect to the bushes and water the rest of the yard.



Well, the yard gets watered, but the bushes no longer do! Flamingo completely bypassed the original connection and made a new one. Now our beautiful Arborvitaes are dying of thirst.



The guy who came out came on the wrong day, wrong time (for both the estimate and the installation) and was grumpy. He refused to show my wife how to program the sprinkler system, muttering some crack about that being a man's job. Seriously?



Two stars only because they got 2/3 of our yard watered properly.

Previous review is pretty much spot on. If you hire this company, there is no guarantee that they'll show up at the agreed upon time, if at all. They seem understaffed and overbooked and as previously mentioned, if the project becomes too difficult for them, they may just abandon the job or at the very least, put off finishing it until a later date, leaving you in a lurch. Again, as mentioned previously, use at your own risk.

On Thursday, May 16, 2013, I had Flamingo Lawn Sprinkler come to my home to diagnose and restart a lawn sprinkler system that hadn't been active for about 15 years.



Flamingo Sprinkler did some preliminary work, like sealing breaks in some outdoor pipes feeding the water line to the sprinkler system, putting a new bonnet onto the top of a pipe, seeing that 2 of 4 zones activated, finding a water line break, and installing two rotating sprinkler heads and five pop up sprinklers.



Flamingo Sprinkler said that water valves for the two inactive zones had to be located, but he had to leave the work on my yard undone in order to take care of some other repair jobs. He was unsure about when he could return and said he may return on Wednesday or Thursday of the following week.



I called on Tuesday to query Flamingo Sprinkler on when it would return. But I was told that 2 of 4 employees on staff did not report for work and that the remaining two workers were backed up with other repair jobs.



Flamingo Sprinkler told me that he "would get back to me" on when it could return to finish the job.



Flamingo Sprinkler did not get back to me and I called in another lawn service that located the water valves and restored my home lawn sprinkler system on Friday, May 24, 2013.



Flamingo Sprinkler did not install the gosset properly and it did not install nozzles on 4 of the 5 pop up sprinkler heads.



I have learned that Flamingo Sprinkler has a history of abandoning repair jobs that it deems too difficult.

I had this company install my sprinklers in the summer of 2004. Their were 3 men installing the job. Only one of the men was actually working while the 2 others cracked jokes at him for working to hard and how they made more money than him.... One in particular, ( I believe his name is Dan) was rude and non-professional.
