Ferd came by for a look at the yard the day after I called him. He provided insight into what trees he would suggest taking down, if a tree had value in keeping. He even took down a pesky grape vine that had gone astray. He gave us additional information about growing grass, and which trees would make the best firewood, etc. It's obvious that he has a passion for his work, and enjoys what he does. He and his crew worked for 2 days and were very professional and courteous. His price was fair. He is trustworthy to be left to work without us being home. I would definitely recommend Farmer Ferd for tree service!

Did a great job removing a large oak tree that was dying. Very friendly and professional! Would recommend this company. Will contact them again if I need anymore trees taken care of. They made us and our neighbor very happy!!

Farmer Ferd came out to look a large tree gown through a fence in small yard. He explained how he would take it down, provide a quote and was covered by insurance.



The work was completed in less than one day . His team cut the wood up and stacked for future burning and cleaned up the area. Great customer service; Very professional throughout the job.

The owner Mr. Ferd Maloney and his crew were dedicated to finish what was promised in a timly fashion. They treated the surrounding area as if it was there own, with even cleaning the leaves (not from the tree that was worked on) as a bonus. Ferd and his Crew are REAL PROS not some fly by night Mickey Mouse tree service. I highly recommend them!!!! The not only know how to remove your trees but clean up ALL the mess left over. It is as if they were never there !!!

Farmer Ferd recognized that we needed service fast and had the estimate to me over nite via email. Once he was given the go ahead, his crew was at my house removing my neighbors tree from my garage before the next storm hit our town, preventing any further damage. It has been quite some time since Farmer Ferd cleared a tree out of my yard, but his service has stood out so much that I wanted to make sure others knew. The service was quick, he realized it was an emergency so he prioritized. Also, it cost much less than I anticipated and he really worked with me on the payment as it was certainly an unexpected cost. All in all, a hell of a guy. Thanks Ferd.

Excellent care with a 50 ft tree removal. Electrical service lines and cable went through the canopy and great care was taken not to lose power or cable. Courteous and hard-working crew that live locally. Trimming work performed by the owner.

Clean-up was not as good as I expected from reading the reviews. The chipper leaked oil and left a mess on the road at end of my driveway. The oil was tracked on to the driveway and pavers, so I must purchase oil remover and scrub to remove the spots. However, the price was still $600 below the top bid and $300 below another, so I don't mind spending a few dollars to clean up.

The stump grinding is sub-contracted. The work was done the same day, and the contractor did a very good job with the stump and ground roots. Consider paying for removal of the grindings if you want to plant the area. It took me several hours to get the area level and ready for planting grass seed.

I would definitely recommend Farmer Ferd. He was very professional; he actually called back and showed up when he said he would show up. His prices were very reasonable. He took safety precautions, such as wearing hard hats. Finally, Ferd and his helper were very friendly and respectful, and as a woman (home alone) I felt safe and comfortable in their presence.

Farmer Ferd and his hardworking crew did an excellent job removing several large trees from our yard in Cherry Hill. Very prompt and courteous as well. A no-hassle experience - would highly recommend to anyone.

I called on Wednesday about a 100+ dead tree. They did an estimate on Thursday, and based on the tree's status moved it forward and had the permit and tree down by the end of day on Friday. They responded quickly and service was fast and absolutely top notch. A stellar job.

Farmer Ferd gave the best price, was very safe, and careful by tying off big limbs as he trimmed a tree that is only a few feet away from our house. He genuinely cared about the tree's health and I will be sure to use him agqain. I highly recommend him.

I have a rental property in Burlington and farmer ferd took care of everything. I had a very large tree in my backyard next to a pool. Farmer ferd ensured everything would be ok and it turned out great! Cleanup was great and the price was right. I had other estimates and I felt most comfortable with farmer ferd. I had a dead tree in my yard that the previous home owner had cut off all of the limbs, but left a 15-20 foot stump standing. During a recent windstorm, the oversized stump was blown over, and fell spanning my entire yard, cutting it off from my dogs being able to use it.



Within 24 hours of calling Farmer Ferd, the stump was cut up and disposed of, with barely a trace of the tree even being there (besides the fence it broke when it fell). I am extremely pleased with how quick they were to respond, and how professional as well. I didn't even need to be present; I just came home from work, and the tree was gone!

Farmer Ferd not only is tops with tree service but he also rescues cats who find themselves stuck in a tree. We had a cat in a large tree for an extended period of time and this cat needed help immediately. Ferd came out in a rain storm, assessed the problem, and came up with a workable solution. He got the cat down and we are very grateful.

We would highly recommend Farmer Ferd's Tree Service. This is the second time we have used Ferdinand's services. Both times had been after storms had damaged trees. The top of a tree had broken off and was lodged up on another tree overtop of my neighbors fence, on the first occasion. He took that one down expertly without any damage to the fence. On the second occasion anther large limb broke off and again was hanging precariously over my neighbors fence (my trees have it in for my neighbors fence). Ferdinand said it was hanging on my just a small little limb. He also cut down a maple tree, shrubs around it, ground down the stumps, topped a holly tree hanging over our roof and cut down various dead limbs around the property. They also cleaned up very nicely and stacked the wood I had asked to save. All this for a very reasonable price. I intend to use Farmer Ferd again whenever I need tree service.
