Lets talk about integrity. The true colors of a company are shown went service situations arise. On the 25th Powell installed a well water filtration system at my mothers home the job seemed to go well, there was a noticeable increase in water pressure which i believe came from an adjustment of the pressure switch to off set the installation of the system. That same day a water line blow out above the well tank,flooding the downstairs area of her home. A water restoration company was called and they came in to clean and dry the area. Today - 5/29 one of the owners met me to review the damage- at this time he explained that he did not feel it was their fault that the water line failed and they would not be covering the damage. He went on to explain they didn't touch the fitting that came apart after the installation crew had left. I find this very interesting that when you depressurize a water system especially on a well, where barbed fittings are used at all connections, That these fittings are not checked for slippage prior to leaving the property.I would say that is standard practice on any kind of work that requires the water system to be shut down ,drained down and then re-pressurized especially when the fittings in question are in Plainview of an area that was accessed during the installation . Unfortunately for everyone we are forced to pursue further action to resolve this issue. I would not do business with a company that leaves an 86-year-old woman in the situation she was left in.
