Horrible

I had the misfortune of hiring these so-called professionals to stain a fiberglass front door. The man in charge, "Blade", left two non-English speaking individuals to do the work, unsupervised. They did not read the instructions that came with the stain, and proceeded to dry the door with a fan, rather than leaving it for 48 hours as instructed. They then applied the sealant on top of the still wet stain, smearing it hopelessly. They also left several areas that weren't adequately covered with the stain. The end result was horrific. "Blade" was contacted and said that it was stain's fault, not his so-called tradesmen. We requested that he come back to see the condition of the door on 3/4, and he agreed to do so. Today is 3/23, and we have heard nothing from him. Do not, under any circumstances, hire this company to perform work at your home.

This gentleman was warned in advance that the product he was supplying was of poor quality. He insisted that it was from the manufacturer of the door and it was what he wanted to use. Erick speaks fine english. He had difficulty with this particular customer due to a heavy british or australian accent. The mans wife called me first and said that she was fine with the door, but she knew how her husband could be, and that he would not pay. I responded to his phone call and was at the door in less than 24 hours. The problem was exactly what I had explained to him before we started. He had an oil based gel stain and a water based clearcoat. I knocked, no one answered, so I left a business card, pulled my sign, and went on my way. I never heard from him again. He was informed that we would be happy to fix the door but I expected to be payed. He chose instead to try to damage our reputation. Our website, www.covenantpainting.net contains hundreds of pictures and references that I believe will speak for themselves.
