WebsiteIt is my desire that you have a fun and enjoyable time fishing the waters around Savannah, Tybee Island, Hilton Head and other barrier and back barriers islands.  The boat is a 21 1/2 Sea Pro bay boat powered with a 150 Yamaha 4 stroke engine. The boat is equipped with an 80 pound thrust Minn Kota trolling motor and Power Pole for shallow water anchoring.  This is excellent combination whether fishing the flats for reds or fishing the offshore wrecks.  Most inshore fishing is in seven feet of water or less.  Most offshore fishing is 50 feet or less.  Offshore trips are within 10 miles.  Most of the fishing is light inshore fishing.  We fish the seasons for  whats biting.  You can find a current fishing report by go to the website.  Usually fishing reports are posted every two weeks.  If you find a greater gap of time it just means fishing has been good and there has been little off the water.  All is equipment is well maintained and under a factory warranty.  I keep a Sea Tow membership as a safety precaution.  The boat has passed the safety requirements for a charter boat. Hi!  I'm Capt. Jack McGowan owner and operator of Coastal River Charters  a Premeir Inshore Fishing & Sight Company.  USCG licensed & Insured.  We fish for redfish, seatrout, flounder, tarpon, shark and more!  Great charter experience for an experienced fishermen or novice.  Family oriented.  Can fish up to four people.  Trips with three people or less are encouraged.  We fish live bait (shrimp, mullet, mud minnows),  artificials and the fly.  I use Temple Fork rods and Ross reels.  On the spin tackle I fish Shimano teramar rods and spheros reels.  I use 2o lb power pro on most reels.  No licenses are required.  I have been full time chartering for the last twelve years.  Sight seeing and nature tours are welcome as well a combinatioin sight seeing/fishing charters.  Hours of operation will depend on the tides and your schedule.  We will try to pick the most likely time to fishing.

- I keep my boat at the Bahia Bleu Marina in Thunderbolt. Â The Bahia is likely the most up date marina in our area. Â Most fishing is within a 30 minuets run from the marina. Â We might be fishing the flats around pristine barrier islands surrounded by an intricate network of creeks and rivers. - The boat is an open bay boat. Â We will have bottle water and ice on board. Â You are encouraged to bring a smail cooler with whatever you desire to eat or drink. Â Rods, reel, tackle are provided as well any live or dead bait. Â If want to bring your rod or rods please do so. Â
