I hate to say this, but Dr. Fulton's practice is not one I would recommend. Her office in Virginia Beach is disorganized - I mean, the techs can't find anything they need within a reasonable time frame. I used to go to the Norfolk office, which was a little better in the organizing department, but not by much. When I switched to the Virginia Beach office because of a class schedule change, they LOST MY RECORDS.

During the course of treatment, she made a lot of poor decisions. For starters, she didn't communicate with the dentists who were going to do the cosmetic aspect (implants, etc). Also, she moved one of my teeth the wrong way for 6 months, prolonging the treatment by a year! Didn't take any notes during appointments, so she didn't know what she had done the last time - flying by the seat of her pants, pretty much.

When it came time for retainers, they waited a week. (Luckily, Dr. Foleck had a top retainer ready.) You're supposed to get the retainers the same day you get your braces off. My bottom teeth have already shifted a little so this retainer is rather uncomfortable.

To her benefit, I will say that the techs are nice, and so is she. However, "nice" does not make up for "poor orthodontic practice."

I'm just glad my braces are off and I have my retainers, because I don't want to deal with her offices ever again!

myself,3 done 2 more to go

yes its true!

im am so excited to share my experiences to you about dr.oden-fultons practice. she is a fine tuned orthodontist who takes time with her patients as well as the family members. her staff is knowledgeable and professional. they are patient when dealing with my 6 year old son who is leary about treatment. the girls there are soft spoken and they put whole ordeal at ease. i am proud to say, looking at my 3 eldest children who have had sucessful results with dr. fulton, that i had no doubt where i would take the 2 youngest. dr.oden-fulton has put a great smile on myself as well. the older the kids get the more appreciative they become aboout their great smiles. as told to me by dr. oden-fulton herself "braces just enhance all the beauty that is already there. we are truly blessed to have developed a relationship through all these years with her and her staff. thanks doc :)
