I appreciated my experience with Camano Island Kennels very much. I chose you to help me with my dog training needs because I believe in pack leadership and hierarchy, not treat feeding or positive only training, both of which are unbalanced. It is well worth the distance to find trainers who agree with my beliefs and it is becoming hard to find good trainers who understand canine psychology- Your web page said it all!!! Thanks so much, we will be back. Our next two goals are the Public Access Test and the Therapy Dog Test. Wish us luck!

Thank you for the insightful,effective obedience training classes for "us" and our rescue pup Sasha. We have learned to identify any situation as an "opportunity" to improve our skills and her exposure to everyday life. She improved remarkably and we are coming along. We have noticed that after her boarding stays and the intermittent training sessions with Jason and Dianna, she really is consistent with her skills and is a very happy dog. We are so appreciative to have such quality care so close to home.

In August, my dog Ella was boarded and spent three weeks on basic obedience training. When Dianna and Jason showed me the work they had done with Ella, I was so impressed. She was transformed from a mostly frightened, unsure, and untrained rescued dog, into a confident and obedient, eager to please companion that I’ve been trying to ”catch up” with ever since. The Camano Island Kennel facilities are impeccable and Dianna and Jason’s knowledge and experience is so evident in Ella. Thanks so much.

One, one-hour lesson with Jason and Dianna made more impact than all of the previous training combined. We backed that experience up by attending their six-week doggie school which helped even more. We plan to go back to Jason and Dianna for regular refreshers. “Gertie” also boards at their kennel and loves it! We have seen the results achieved by Dianna and Jason with other dogs and would recommend them to anyone who would like to develop a well-behaved dog.
