Be Careful - I got a fair price on a lower end 1/2 HP model but when I upgraded I paid too much!!

I use to use Buck Plumbing for all of my plumbing needs. Yesterday I paid $450. to have a garbage disposal installed by them that I could buy on Amazon for $225. I was not aware of the model number ahead of time so I couldn't look it up. InSinkErator PRO750 Pro Series 3/4 HP Food Waste Disposal with Evolution Series Technology.If you stick with the 1/2 horsepower they are at the Home Depot/Lowes price plus $90 which is pretty fair for the install. Once I requested the upgrade which I thought would be a 1HP disposal I ended up getting ripped off big time on a 3/4 HP.
