Having locked my keys in my car, I called several locksmiths. I was quoted a price of at least $140 at every establishment I contacted. I simply don't have that kind of money, even if I were to decide not to eat for the next month to make up for it. Someone suggested I call a towing company, and so I searched one in my area on this website. Ashland Automotive Towing was prompt and very reasonably priced; they did not in fact arrive in a tow truck, but I hardly think one requires a tow truck to open a locked car door. They were friendly and fast. They said their credit card machine was down, which is something you might want to ask about if you can't pay in cash, but luckily I could and the transaction was completed with no trouble at all. I would recommend them to those of us living past certain other auto services' areas (I'm on the South Side) and who don't have too much money set aside for car emergencies.

I just have to say wow about the service. First the dispatcher was so nice and kept me calm when i got into the accident. The driver was there in 20 min. This company is very reasonable with price and they will work with your insurance. Just a great company overall.
