This bad review you should read before using APH.



I have known Andy for about 27 years, worked with him on a great many projects and believed that I knew him better than most. Well I have since changed my mind, not only is he a cheat, a liar, but he has become unscrupulous. This change in him has happened suddenly.



My reasoning for this opinion is that he apparently thinks that it is OK to renegotiate an agreed price on a project after it has been completed. I will never use or recommend him again. In fact if you need someone to do HVAC work call Nolan & Company at 908-303-8718.

APH provided my wife and I with a prompt fix to our problem during the heat wave this summer. Other contractors gave us outlandish quotes telling us we needed to get a new system. Andy took the time and found out what was really going on saving us thousands of dollars! Thanks Andy! Will most definitely recommend.

The guy who came out to inspect our ac unit is a joke. He was referred by a friend of the family to inspect our faulty unit which we already knew was a bad ac compressor. He came in and looked at it. He spent at 30 minutes here..which we already told him that the compresser was broken. He than told us the entire unit needs replacement for $2700.00. We asked if the compresser was under warranty. He checked and said no."i called it in and its 11 months expired." We already knew we still had 1 month of warranty left but he insisted that it was not covered. He than told us we would need an entire unit. After we left we went outside to look at the unit and the serial number sticker was ripped off!!!! He also scractched off just the year on the unit. Unbelievable!!!!! What a joke. He should be referred to the BBB!!!! Hes lucky we dont sue for consumer fraud!!!! Jokers

I asked these guys for an estimate. Mr. Hurta (Andy) to his credit arrived promptly to give us one. I told him that I was taking one other estimate but my preference was to go with him, provided he is not significantly more expensive than the other Company, because APH was a local Company. My preference is to give the business locally, if I can afford it. APH Mechanical's estimate came in was abou $1100 more. Our subsequent email exchange is self explanatory:

Many thanks for your estimate, as also for the promptness. Unfortunately, we have decided to go with the other contractor. I want to thank you for your time & interest. Good luck with your future endeavors.
