Founded in 1974, the Alum Rock Counseling Center, also known as ARCC, offers a range of case management, counseling, prevention, educational and early intervention services throughout east Santa Clara Valley. The organization provides support group services for individuals, children, teenagers and families in several languages, such as Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean and English. It works in collaboration with nonprofit agencies, schools and public organizations. The Alum Rock Counseling Center also offers mentoring, family education and after-school youth programs. It additionally provides anger management and drug and alcohol abuse prevention services. The organization offers services related to various personal and emotional concerns. The Alum Rock Counseling Center is a member of United Way. It works with a team of counselors, trainers, program coordinators and volunteers.
