Alan and Sons made it easy to switch waste services. The driver is always friendly and when I forgot to take my bin to the curb he actually came up to the house to haul it down to the truck himself. You don't get that with the other guys. Automatic billing made paying for services simple. Super service.

Good trash service, terrible recycling, even worse customer service. You pay 17 dollars every 3 months for a tiny recycling bin that blows away and then they ask you to pay 22 dollars for a new bin. They also said I was supposed to have put a brick in the container so it wouldn't blow away, but I don't have one. So I asked if they'd provide one and I was told that is not their responsibility either. No ownership in this company and Renee is very rude and condescending on the phone. The first time a bin blew away she continuously told me to check the neighborhood, well I live on a main street and that thing could blow anywhere. I walked at least a mile searching for it counting both directions. When I asked for service to be cancelled, of course there is no refund either even though they will no longer be providing me with recycling service. Makes locally owned businesses look terrible.
